2.) Q- What types of writing activities would make the best use of technology in your classroom?

2.) A- I believe writing activites where you include peer editing would make the best use of technology in my classroom. For example, I would have my students write a short persuasive essay and post it on a forum similar to black board where they can assess eachothers work. I would then assign each student a partner. Each student would have to log on and edit their partners work and add constuctive critisims at the end. This way they can help eachother and get peer input and ideas before I edit and grade them myself.

14. Virtual worlds are so engaging because students can completely re construct who they are. Being able to escape the real world and create your own is a new way of thinking for people. For example, second life. Second life is just what it intales, It is a second life for students to explore and learn. Manipulating their own characters and learning in three D is the new and more effective way of learning for students. They make their own rules and learn at their own pace. Having the feeling of being in charge is a great new way to motivate learners.
